报告摘要/Abstract:
Distributed quantum computing has long been hindered by lossy inter-module links. In this talk I will present our recently developed low-loss interconnects for superconducting quantum processors: ultralow-loss aluminum superconducting cables improve coherence by over tenfold, now matching native qubit coherence, and enable inter-module state transfer and entanglement generation with fidelities up to 99%. I will then present our latest advance in suppressing thermal noise in the interconnects. We coherently couple two superconducting qubits through a 4 K niobium titanium transmission line, radiatively cooling the channel to 0.06 photons via an overcoupled 10 mK cold load. Rapid state transfer during rethermalization achieves 58.5% state transfer and 52.3% Bell entanglement fidelities—both above the classical threshold.
